HIVE Collective is an interior design studio whose mission it is to provide transformational, full-service support for your new construction, boutique development, commercial and residential projects.
Our passion for exceptional design that exceeds expectations and honors our client’s vision is the driving force behind the HIVE Collective. Through our bespoke approach, we provide full-service support by creating a beautiful & functional environment, keeping in mind the space, the brand and people connected to it.
Gini Marshall
From market showrooms and retail boutiques, to residential, restaurant and hospitality design, Gini has spent the past twenty years evolving into an innovative creator within the industry.
Known for her friendly and outgoing personality, she shows genuine interest in others' endeavors and an eagerness to find a way to facilitate their aspirations through design. Supported by a talented team and extended network of creatives, Gini has the innate ability to channel her clients' needs while offering them a new perspective through a transformed space. As an entrepreneur and business owner herself, Gini understands the affect an environment can have on productivity, inspiration and general well-being. Her passion for collaborative design has propelled her into the role of creative director for many large-scale projects, guiding her team of consultants, craftsmen, fabricators and marketing professionals, and working one-on-one with architects and builders.

Sustainable Developer + Realtor
Mark Marshall is a licensed NC Broker with Realty One Group, a Business Owner and Sustainable Developer of several conservation focused boutique neighborhoods. His background is in Architecture, Wilderness Education, Fine Woodworking and Home Building with a deep focus on the environment, land conservation and “best use” practices for land development. In his personal life, he is an avid cook, mountain biker, father of two awesome children and an active member of the Mills River, Asheville and Hendersonville communities. Together with his wife Gini, they own a spring water enterprise in Mills River called True Springs.

Architectural + Graphic Designer,
Multilayered in skill set and equipped with a background in Interior Architecture, Linsey's collaboration with HIVE ensures that the environments we design accurately reflect the identity of the business that practices inside. AnCrann Furniture
HIVE and AnCrann have collaborated on furniture design, retail and window displays for more than six years. Kevin is a seventh generation furniture maker from Ireland whose keen attention to detail and creative mind makes him an invaluable part of the HIVE design team. View more of Kevin's work here.

Senior Environmental Designer
Based in Portland, Oregon, David is HIVE’s go-to consultant for all things Commercial Design. His portfolio includes work for NIKE, North Face, Adidas, Starbucks and Boeing to name a few. A lot of his time outside of the studio is spent traveling in his 1950 Comet.

HIVE Interior Design
Based in sunny Los Angeles, CA Brianna handles all things Revit, CAD and "fab!" for HIVE’s projects. Briana is a wizard at taking brainstorm sketches and turning them into workable renderings. She has her finger on the pulse of West Coast Design and brings a fresh perspective to all of HIVE’s work.
